Uncut Trail Adventures: REAL Trail Running and Hiking in the Mountains of Utah
Self-filmed mountain hiking and running in Utah Mountains
There’s something raw and honest about trail running in the mountains — no filters, no edits, no second takes...well, sometimes. That’s exactly what my Uncut Trail Adventures YouTube series is about.
I live in Utah, surrounded by the Wasatch, Uinta and Oquirrh Mountains, and I spend a lot of time exploring them on foot. These trails are rugged, steep, and often unpredictable — but they’re also some of the most beautiful places on earth. Through my Uncut videos, I try to capture what it actually feels like to be out there: the effort, the wind, the silence, and the small moments that make it all worth it.

Why “Uncut”?
There are plenty of great trail running videos out there (and have posted many and will continue to do so), but most are edited to perfection. This series is different. When you hit play, you’re getting the real thing — start to finish. You’ll see the climbs, the stumbles, the camera resets (because yes, I always have to go back for the camera), and all the parts that usually get cut out.
Running or hiking on the trails isn’t always smooth or fast. Sometimes it’s just you breathing hard on a steep ridge, wondering why you do this to yourself — and then you hit the summit, look around, and remember exactly why. That’s what I want to share.
This is what it's all about - these moments that keep me going. This is why I do this.

Running Through Utah’s Wild Trails
Utah is a trail runner’s dream. The Wasatch Range offers miles of rugged singletrack, exposed ridges, and alpine lakes tucked high above the valley. The Uintas, on the other hand, are wild and remote — where you can go all day and not see another person. And the Oquirrh Mountains on the west side of the valley offer their own unique beauty, with quiet trails, sweeping desert views, and the kind of solitude that makes every step feel a little more meaningful.
In my Uncut videos, I take you along to places like Gobblers Knob, White Pine Lake, Black Mountain, and other incredible trails that make Utah such a unique place to run and explore. Some days it’s calm and sunny; other days it’s full-on wind and weather. Either way, it’s always an adventure.

What to Expect
These videos aren’t about pace or performance — they’re about the experience. You’ll hear the wind in the trees, the crunch of gravel, and the sound of my own breathing as I make my way up and down the mountain. It’s as close as I can get to taking you with me.
So if you’re into trail running, hiking, or just love seeing what Utah’s mountains look like beyond the highlight reels, check out my Uncut Trail Adventures series.
